What Readers Are Saying
From The
Mid-West Book Review -- July 2008
“The perfect do-it-yourself manual for
individuals and businesses”
5 Stars - When the debt
piles up, the temptation to file for bankruptcy grows ever
greater. "How to Settle Your Debts” is a guide to resisting
the temptation to hit that panic button, and to get out of
debt without going bankrupt. With advice on ceasing the
harassment from creditors, acquiring leverage, and how to tell
when it's okay to ignore a debt, "How to Settle Your Debts" is
an ideal book for anyone with serious money problems.
Highly recommended for community library finance
collections.

Reviews from
Amazon.com:
“Very Helpful Guidance”
D. Hermann, Lebanon, IN – October, 2008
5 Stars - The book guides you through
taking responsibility for what you (and the credit companies)
got you into. The information for working to get you out of
the mess is great. It's given me the confidence to continue
down the road toward settling my debts on my own, and knowing
that professional assistance is still there if I need it. The
book outlines lots of good information concerning debtor’s
rights, challenging creditor’s claims, constructing a workable
budget and starting negotiations with your creditors.
“Great Advice!”
O.L Rodriquez, Miami FL – June, 2008
5 Stars – I am very grateful for the
wonderful advice. I would have loved even more specific info
on settling debts but overall it is a spectacular source of
valuable information.
“Great
Insiders Look At Losing Your Debt”
JSBM, San
Diego, CA – Dec., 2007
5 Stars – Perlmutter's book is clever at
times and thoughtful consistently and offers an insiders look
into the world of debt. The reader is treated to a wealth of
insider information including terms and techniques the banks
and credit companies are using to capitalize on us. This book
is a great addition to my more consumer-oriented "How to Take
Advantage Library”. Buy it and enjoy your new debt-free life!
“The Best Resource Currently Available”
Thomas Stokes "Debt Settlement Specialist" (Norristown,
PA) November, 2005
5 Stars --...“for learning how to settle
unsecured credit card debt. It’s comprehensive and yet
concise. There is no BS or fluff and it touches on every area
of the landscape you need to be aware of when trying to settle
unsecured debt on your own. I gave the book five stars because
all of the information contained in it is essential to know
and is very well presented. As such, this book is the ideal
starting point for learning about how the business of debt and
collection works and how to deal with it. I highly recommended
it.”
